NOVA: Astrospies

I composed the music and created the sound design for this episode of Nova on PBS. It aired in February 2008 and was directed by C. Scott Willis. The episode revealed a secret parallel space program the government initiated in the 1960’s to launch manned spy satellites.

To the right you’ll find an excerpt from the program.

You can view the entire episode here.

Here are a few more music samples:

NOVA: The Spy Factory

This is the second episode of Nova for which I composed the music and created the sound design. It aired in February 2009 and was directed by C. Scott Willis. The program explored the NSA’s knowledge leading up to the attacks on 9/11, and their response that followed.

Fair Game Theme

From 2006-2008 I worked on a public radio program called Fair Game. It was produced and distributed by Public Radio International (PRI) and hosted by Faith Salie. While there, I created the show’s theme music, along with several musical ID's for recurring segments.

Beyond Computers Theme

In 1996 I composed the theme music for a radio program about technology called Beyond Computers, produced by SNP Communications, and distributed by Public Radio International (PRI).

Shades of Gray

I composed all of the music heard in a radio documentary about abortion called Shades of Gray, a program which I also co-produced. It was distributed by PRI and premiered in January 2003, on the 30th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

The Sims & The Sims 2

In 1998 and again in 2001, I made a series of commercial parodies heard when you turn on the T.V. in the computer games The Sims and The Sims 2. The samples to the left are all from the first Sims game.
